Glasses were definitely in fashion. Not exactly the Alaskan librarian look but those aprons and hats were hot.
And you left out the most important question: what did the ladies who lunched had for lunch?
I love this shot. It's so melancholy -- though I"m pretty sure that's not the mood the women were going for. Nice capture.
They're not sad, just British, well they should be with those po faces and wan look.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I have added a little word of explanation.
I'd love to see a historical reenactment sometime — any kind! Though preferably not anything with guns. I hate guns.
