My Mother 1925 - 2010

I never hope to gain cheap pity here; I think of each and everyone of you who pays me the honor of visiting my site as a friend. Please help me celebrate the life of my beloved mother, who passed yesterday at 1:25 pm. She's in a better place now.

Jezebel's Faux Famers

Now that irony and kitsch are all the rage for hipsters ready to spill $$$$ in the trendy West Village, an old sign spells hipness. This pilfered old chicken farm sign sits in the window of Jezebels in the West Village, where hipsters go to drink-drunk-pewk. Their kind has invaded the Village, East Village, Lower East Side, typically making the hood hell for those who like to sleep at 3 am. But I mostly detest the use of old signage, which signified real work, by punks who get drunk, fall down and piss on my doorstep. thanks for letting me squeal.
