Pigeon Mama
Most people despise pigeons. I know I do. But not this attentive senior citizen, who apparently sees her mission in life as making sure the local pigeon population is well fed, fat and sassy (it's illegal to feed pigeons in New York). You can see her every day, marching up MacDougal Street, bag of bread in hand, with her "children" on her mind. GRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHH.

Just think of all the anti-pigeon devices are render useless by this kind of action.
Leave the woman alone and leave pigeons alone. What did they ever do to you? She is showing kindness to other creatures. What is wrong with that?

Awww... I'm not a pigeon fan but I like seeing people feeding birds, squirrels and the like. It's sort of nostalgic and sweet. I can't help notice that it's always older people or sans-chichi people who do that. If I could recast the scene, just in the hope that the world be a tad nicer, I'd give the bird feeder role to a banker in an Armani suit, on his lunch break.
But the birds have to stay away from my bike, thank you very much.
