Better for You?

Strolling the aisles at Target near Princeton this fine and lovely weekend I spotted this curious sign. Notice the junk food below? There were five aisles of potato chips, candy bars and cookies all bearing the celebratory 'better for you' sign,' and one portion of a row with healthier crackers. And we wonder why Americans are obese and getting obese-r?? I asked a nearby Target worker,"Can you believe these signs?" She said, "Well, don't you feel better after you eat a candy bar?" You can't make this stuff up.

Haha- what a logic - no wonder America is getting more obese:) It reminds me on being in Athens (Greece), salesmen on main street, calling out, as soon as you put your eye on their ware, "Good for you, good for you." One time we tried, "No, good for YOU(r pocket)", but it didn't sink in:)

I'm laughing but it's so true. WE are big fat slobs!

Hmm, well it only says 'better for you', not good for you! Perhaps it's better than the triple choc and nut treats in another store.

Come on Ken Mac, they were talking about the Reese's, which has REAL peanut butter.

(I think the word is obesier)

I think the better for you sign refers to the picture fruit that it is attached to.
