will it never end?

It keeps raining in New York, hour after hour, day after day. There's no esccape, except to the newstand, or the coffeeshop or to the Chinese takeout. Splish. Splash... I am going mad....hence the rather dull photograph...the torpor...the horror!

It was a gorgeous 72 in Southern California today...which reminds me of one of Woody Allen's greatest sayings:

When it's 100 degrees in New York, it's 72 in LA. When it's 20 degrees in New York, it's 72 in LA.
There are thousands of interesting people in New York.
And 72 in LA.

Stay warm!

I like this photo - it is stylish. Dull grey weather can kill, I know it!

Love the black blur of the quick passerby

versus the semi-clear of the man who is just now starting to take a blurry step...

Good news: the neighborhood is clear of its usual (obnoxious) throngs from the boroughs...

Uh, yeah...this is just depressing.

We've been having warm days and gray skies. Tend to appreciate the clouds because they're the only things standing between us and what will soon be a long hot summer.

That is the universe's way of washing the city clean. It needs a good shower once and a while, don't you agree?

Looking on the bright side, the forest fire hazard in NYC will be way down.

I am with you brother - the grey is killing me. How do Europeans survive and entire winter like this? And those people in Seattle!?

Your image captures the relentlessness of it all nicely.
