Joanne Hendricks Cookbooks

This 150 year old landmarked building  at 488 Greenwich is surrounded by blue glass towers and gentrification in action, but for years Joanne Hendricks has sold "books about food and wine, etc," from her store, and she owns the building, a must in retaining unique businesses such as hers. I bought an AJ Liebling book and browsed some amazing French cookbooks, Texas cookbooks, even a Salvador Dali cookbook.  Visit Joanne at joannehendrickscookbooks.com

It's ok; I explained to Virg you're just a charming cad and that's all there is to it.

I want to spend all day in that building, browsing and just feeling cozy. Next time you go, check out Lulu's Provencal Table. You'll like the photos I'm sure.

This looks like a great building. Glad to here that she owns the building and won't be forced out.

I don't know what makes my mouth water more, that building or the Salvador Dali cookbook.

Okay, this now makes three cookbook stores I know of in Manhattan versus, oh, zero here in Chicago. Dang.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
