I was on Bleecker, trying to shoot the former location of Mori's Restaurant (before/after pics to come)when I spotted this cool curlicue railing. You can see the awning for The Bitter End, one of Greenwich Village's oldest clubs in the background.

I love wrought iron! Not just railing either. I like how you took just this one curlicue. Kind of makes you wonder if it really was the sole curly one in the length of the railing.

AH, more details of NYC's previous life. I imagine Edith Wharton walking past this fence, possibly catching the edge of her cloak as she passed.
