Across from Mori's

I was on Bleecker, trying to shoot the former location of Mori's Restaurant (before/after pics to come)when I spotted this cool curlicue railing. You can see the awning for The Bitter End, one of Greenwich Village's oldest clubs in the background.

Awesome photo. I love wrought iron fencing. My earliest recollection of where my wrought iron fencing fetish comes from is standing in line many times at DisneyLand for the Haunted Mansion :)

AH, more details of NYC's previous life. I imagine Edith Wharton walking past this fence, possibly catching the edge of her cloak as she passed.

Gorgeous detail shot, Ken.

I love wrought iron! Not just railing either. I like how you took just this one curlicue. Kind of makes you wonder if it really was the sole curly one in the length of the railing.

Nice story you got here. I'd like to read something more concerning that theme.
