Village Critters

Today we stray from historical buildings and grit to Village dogs and kitty kats. The first pooch sleeps in a laundry mat window, then a kitty cat gnaws on an unidentified object, then a lonely looking pup waits for her master outside an East Village bodega.

Seems the wildlife virus has arrived in the city, that never sleeps, huh?

These are all striking photos of local animals.

Cute doggies!! I was afraid you were going to say they were strays. Glad to know they are not.

Kitty took her globe photo at Columbus Circle and mine was from Flushing-Meadows Park in Queens.

I guess there are more than one metal globe in NYC.

Are these critters safe from droogs?
Animals so much friendlier than so called humans to capture. Not what I was expecting from a city snapper, but I'm dog shot.

Love the first picture. Looks like the owner knitted the dog's blanket too.

The dog in the last photo is very expressive.

Ah, this is the life! Perfect, everyone naps under summer's heat.

The first one seems to be the most balanced of those three: seems like he takes knitting as a hobby. I bet he knitted this little blanket for a more comfortable nap. How clever! And stylish!
