At night from my Village perch the Freedom Tower looks like a jeweled Christmas tree. But up close at Ground Zero, it leaps to the sky and stirs the heart. Ground Zero at the World Trade Center has been a dead zone for years, so, though I hate the blue glass building style which permeates every skyline in the US, this is a welcome sight.

Though I still prefer prefer the old buildings, I'm surprised to say I've made my piece with some of the glass towers. This one looks unique and is certainly no exact replica of the twin towers, which are points in its favor.
ugh! my morning view! work, work, work. eleven years! the twins took less than three years!
have i missed your shoot of St. Paul's. i did a spear a few years ago. good stuff there, i'm curious on what your take would be like. i know, been done to death - - - but, still.
