Sorry to ask a dumb question but why are the courts both famous and annoying?

Holy crap, that is a bad ATM location. But it is just full of wonderful photogenic textures and colors.
Love the fact that the ATM is still clean.
There used to be a similar ATM on Houston with a hand-cut slot in the wall, covered with duct tape and black felt pen arrows pointing into the slot. A hand-written sign above it said "Ice Cream!!" I regret not getting a photo of it.
