How have I missed all of these? Wonderful stuff, KM.
KB, and Ken Mac, these are terrific. Maybe the ads of guns for Christmas are my favorites, but Ken Mac’s sexy pipe tobacco and KB’s suggestively reaching (groping?) Santa are fun too. Can it be we’ve actually progressed a little in the last half-century? What are the local gun shops and Victoria Secret doing this year in the way of holiday ads?
We have progressed backwards in the last half-century. Suggestion in advertising is frowned upon; rather we encourage people to take out their feelings on the street. Is there a dictionary of double-entendre?
Can't find email address for you, but wanted to let you know I referred to your last few posts in my post today. If it's not OK, please let me know, and I'll yank it. Seems complimentary, good-natured etc. to me, but you get a vote. :)These posts are great fun, by the way. Dennis Day really sings with his mouth open, doesn't he.
Well why bother dragging it out at Christmas if it isn't MOSTLY liquor.....and a great big ball!! Remember, 2 or 3 make a party but ALL 15 , you'll have a ball.....and a hangover from hell!
Nothing says holiday spirit more than mostly liquor and big balla .
Just make sure it doesn't Klompen your Kloggen....
Now, where's the Klompen Kloggen gal when you need her! I'll even take a puff!
Dear friend Ken Mac,I wish to you and yours a Happy Holidays and a Wonderful 2010!
Let's all just sit around the tree and get smashed. Indeed!
Wow! These are great...brings back so many memories... not really, I dont think I was born yet.. :)
Keep the Klompen Kloggen girl away from the balls.
Christmas used to be so incorrect. I miss parts of the good old days but may I be selective about what parts I miss?
KM,I"m LOL and may I add that your blog has gone down the same road as Hiker's, which is not a bad thing, but a really slippery slope!! Whew, now there at two of you to check hourly. I'm afraid to miss a trick! I think I'll have another cocktail! V
