Well I see you've gone another direction in an effort to keep us at bay. It will work for a while and then we'll get unruly again. :)
THis is superb monochrome but not a monochrome but looks like....... well you know. Gorgeous shot. Sharp and clear and great composition. Perfecto mon ami. I hope you have a blessed Christmas with family and friends. xx v
I am probably swimming against the tide here, but I quite like this one in colour. The curve would work but not sure the snowy branches would be other than sludge grey.
However, in colour I like it. Just a bit too conservatively beautiful for this particular blog! Ok ok ... I will be off now.
Ken Mac..greetings....that's not my kitty. He lives at the farm I was visiting and does go in and out of the house. My one and only kitty is inside most of the time during the winter.
I love Bedford Street--reminds me of old timey NYC--is Maries Wonderful Italian Restaurant still there?? I believe so. Happy Holidays to you Ken Mac and keep these wonderful photos flowing.
The snow fell and the owners of this residence on Bedford Street have not dealt with it yet. I like my Mom's old timey way of clearing the steps on the stoop in Park Slope--with her shoe or with her grey leather sheepskin lined boot--some rock salt and that's how we did it back in the day. I love this photo for many reasons Ken Mac.

I love the iron railing with the snow. Very monochromatic : )

Looks like no one is home.
One more from the good guy! Merry Christmas Ken Mac....Have you been shoveling down there?
But wait...this isn't tacky.
It's lovely, actually.
Uh, tell «Louis» again about "Global Warming"....
Wow, what a grand wintery image. The snow really compliments the red brick.
I liked this photo of the curved staiway and clean snow Ken. - Dave
A naturally decorated stairway! All the elements are there to make a lovely photo!
Very chic!
Merry Christmas to you Ken:)

Safe to say, they aren't venturing outside.
This is something I can recognize - snow on the steps.
Fantastic composition... you did the wonderland scene well.
Yowsah.

Difficult to get up those stairs!
Great photo. You had snow then?! lol!
Nice shot, KM. Can't add reasons to what's already been said, but I like this one a lot.
