Re you comment: It may be because JPG-files uploaded to Blogger are automatically "treated" by Picasa. This means auto-adjustments and probably re-compression. PNG-files are not treated. The "feature" can be turned off in Google+, but I do not want to use Google+.
Yes her photographs are really strong. Strange story about the rights. If Maloof had not brought them in the open nobody would have know about them at least still living heirs, but as always it is a greed for money.

Vivian Maier has really burst onto the scene, hasn't she? If she is up there looking down, I expect she is completely mystified.
