I like this a lot. The blue-silver tones are very nice and the rounded vs. the square is great. Nice composition.

very cool. I have to wonder whether anyone really uses those balconies. They look iffy.

A marvelous find and description.

Great perspective. Hopefully the legacy of inventiveness acts as inspiration to the artists.

I think, if I recall correctly, that those are not balconies per say, but used as fire escapes.

I wouldn't go out on those things!

Lots of squares, but softened by the curves. Very fitting for the history.

Actually, the balconies are fire escapes. Since Westbeth is a fire-proof building, if your neighbor has a fire in his apartment, he can climb out of his window into yours, and vice versa. They're not meant for sunbathing.
