The rich colors and unusual point of view really draw me into this scene! Will you consider entering it in my 'Weekly Top Shot' meme? We're on Week #21 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=6603
I like the colors of the picture, I am always struck by the subway stations, and its people, I found it super fun to see the variety of cultures coexisting together. Greetings As for my dog is pregnant is going to have puppies is a typical Cantabrian spaniel, another race is akin to the Portuguese (Obama dog) and another in southern Spain, the French poodle also has some kinship jjj.
Great shot. That was my childhood (and teenage and young adult) station -- when the neighborhood was Flatbush not "Ditmas Park." Kind of looks like they haven't painted it since then.
Fantastic photo, as always. Thanks for the memories.
My spouse, who probably was on the same train as Fat Al, agreed it's much the same. He'd ride the local to and from Brooklyn Tech H.S. and this was a local stop. He thanks you for the chance to once again be unhappy with the local!
My other favorite thing about the Cortelyou Road stop is that it kind of redefines the concept of "local" -- since the next stop toward Manhattan (Beverly Road) is precisely one block away.

Very cool! I love that little bit of blue near the vanishing point.
Oh, man, that's a great combo of curve, gold, textures, and lines. And yes, a touch of blue. This one's especially nice, Ken.
Nice high standpoint.great perspective. Good shot

Great shot. I love it.
This is one outstanding photograph. Wonderful elements here. Great perspective.
Great picture! I like this station, & the little restaurant right next to the tracks.
Sensory evoking of an urban Rockwell homecoming, most provocative and enjoyable.

I've never been to this station. It looks like a nuclear zone!
Were you standing on some steps when you took this? It looks high up.
Love the golden glow, the rosy hues . . and yes, that touch of blue . . .

I like this perspective. Very nice.
This is WAY above the speed limit.
