Good Morning Ken Mac. What was the message? Hope all is well and that you are enjoying the season.

daintily about to drink an imaginary cup of tea.

an interesting catch.
The arm and body look like a shadow. So this could be a hand floating in mid air.

Hope you're doing well, Ken!

You are such a gifted photographer because you see so much around you. Thanks! And you're right, we do miss our mothers the most right now. My birthday was Dec. 12, then there's Christmas and New Year's, she died on Jan. 7, and her birthday is jan. 23. Plus, I've been a widow since 1983, and my husband's birthday is Jan. 21, we got married on New Year's Eve, he went to the hospital for the last time on Valentine's Day and died on April 14. Our son's birthdays are Sept. 24 and Halloween. Pretty much takes care of fall, winter, and spring for me, if I dwell on it. Which I will not allow myself to do for very long. Thank goodness my parents instilled a huge degree of curiosity in me.

I love this spotlight on this hand and this gesture.

I'm with Kitty and Sharon--something about the absence of context, the light and the dark, the fairly big ring--a few components adding up to a lot of drama.

I agree with SC on this one. It grabs my eye.

I would really hate to get punched in the face with him wearing that ring! And since I've just published my last post for the year on my own blog id like to wish you and all of your reader's a merry Christmas and happy holidays. Richard

I have the exact same ring. (diamonds and platinum) I thought mine was unique.
