Reminds me of where my dad worked, somewhere on 35th off 8th. He worked for some 30 years for a company that supplied dresses for clothing stores in the midwest. And even tho he was a manager, I was so depressed when I visited his "office" once in the 60s .. a beat up old desk on a warehouse floor covered in papers, dust, magazines, and a dirty old fashioned telephone.
But, the stories he would tell ....
The colors in your photo pretty much reflect the patina of that era.
I just would like to send a message to biebkriebels, who lost her pet: I am so sad, I visit your blog every evening, I always smiled when I saw his "snuitje". I cannot place a message on your own blog.

My husband would love to live in this area so it's fun checking it out via your blog... love the color and texture in this photo!
I don't know why I see Jack Lemmon in there.
Well captured.
I love it too. Maybe just because it means so much to you. Love you my friend.

Days of yore. Not exactly a bright sun face to enter at 8 a.m., but character, oh yes.

This blog is really nice, by the way!

This is another fine image.
Oooh yeah, lots of photo ops there! I'd love to walk around there too. As I was scrolling down, the buildings just kept going and going - quite tall!
Full of character
I can't believe an iphone can take this kind of high quality shot. As another commenter said, the colors are perfect.
And the Hiker's comment cracked me up.
