I m sure the pig has a lot to say.He could see all those going in and not coming out.Great night shot.Costas
Great photo and Hells Kitchen lore. Hope it wasn't Rudy who got whacked.
And, er, uhm, uh, . . . Rudy's has the best dirty water dogs in town. Rudy's has always been a microcosm of the City, from Ragz to Tuxz . . . o'course its been looking a little more like KEG 101 lately. the ole Juke ain't what she used to be, but still a stop on the annual circuit, for ole times sake.p.s. always thought of Rudy's as Ruby's (Coney Island) city cousin.p.s. s. LOVE the flaky paint on your last post. wonderful texture. always enjoy your work....ero
Rudy's seems quite ruby. After your story, the coloring is symbolic as hell.
How the times have changed.
Very good picture, and I had a look at your blog and I like what I've seen. Congratulations, keep it up. In fact, I think I'll follow your blog.
Love the sign and the red glow of the 'hood.
I am a glutton for images like this. It does not boar, but makes me squeal!
Oh damn, I was going to say that pig don't squeal, but this Ken character is spilling everything.
oh who doesn't love Rudys? The free hot dogs, the condom machines at the bathrooms? Such a Hell's Kitchen staple.
Thanks for taking me back to where East coast pieces of my soul remain!Aloha from Honolulu :) Comfort Spiral
Interesting history, hows' the BBQ?
I'll bet that piggie told some whopping 'pork pies'Ck.
I love red in the photo... it kind of fits with whole history of the place. Or do I just have a vivid imagination. lol
Love the way you composed this.
Rudy's is the best...I have never NOT come out of there drunk, lol.
If he could, he'd be in Witness Protection.
As in ruby-red blood?
Good dispatch and this mail helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you for your information.
