Greenpoint Door

An old industrial port across from Manhattan, Greenpoint now mostly homes the well to do and hipsters. The neighborhood is slowly changing, old stores being converted into bars, clubs. A few relics remain, here and there.

What she said--comp and colors are terrific.

Great photo. Phoenix is so bland. I would like to find some place around here with some character to photograph, but as yet haven't.
Maybe I just need a more creative eye.

Good Grief! I was driving in the wilderness of NH today and saw an abandoned house whose front doors remind me of this shot.

I really, really like this one. Color, texture--to repeat everyone else. Also, good luck plus your good eye include the red cannister and its shadow--one of these things is not like the others. Very nice, Ken.

Looks like a mediterian photo, Greece or Spain, not NY.

I have to join Virginia, for I did a double-take when I saw this photo on the portal. I have an almost identical door I photographed a few days ago and am posting it on August 24th! Check back to me then!

We have twin doors, so far away!

I like everything about this, including the lace curtains. Is that a mail slot on the left door?

Like this a lot and struggle with including the milkcan or not ( for me that is)..I think just having the shadow of it and wondering what it is..is interesting too.

Obviously a door with a history - I envy you this one.

Yes, I was puzzled by the shadow, too.

Love these doors; wonder about all the people who have gone in and out of them since they were brand new.
