Hey Ken Mac...thanks for the visit. When I was a child, I went to a Greek Orthodox church in Jamestown, NY. It was very small compared to this one, and it was where I was baptized.

Ken, do you plan any interior shots of this church?
Greek Orthodox churches tend to be quite splendid.
«Louis» is interested in church architecture, so he appreciates this post.

though certainly a bit of a stretch, this image reminds me of "The Little House"...that house from the children's book where a city gets built around it? Nice shot!

I like the skyline in this.

You have a great blog here. I like checking out travel blogs much like yours at times. I have a blog myself which I hope will be a great resource for those looking to go on vacation. I want everyone to get that "vacation feeling" every time they come to my site. You know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to exchange links with you to help spread some traffic around between each other. Please let me know if this is possible. Until then, keep up the good work.

To me it seemed strange to see such a classic building in-between totally different ones - and yes, I know this is New York :-)

Looked inviting!

A strange mixture of styles and an excellent contrast with the red buildings on either side!

I find it funny sandwiched between two red buildings. But the church itself is beautiful! I love the big stained glass window.

On the other hand, that shade of red is all over Russia and the cold countries.

Beautiful church, excellent photo

This looks so solid, tucked between the surrounding new construction. An anchor point really. Nice.

An EV treasure.

Beautiful massive building squeezed between the two red ones, the photo makes it look like it is popping out!

Isn't this the Middle Collegiate Church on Second Avenue at 7th street?
