I've always liked the front of the hotel. Funny, don't know anyone who has ever stayed there... Wonder if the rooms are as nicely appointed as the exterior.

I've just been reading the biography of Edward Hopper who, if I remember correctly, lived at 3 Washington Square (for almost 50 years in a 4th walk-up!). I guess I should google the hotel to see how close this is to his residience.

Love this area. This hotel was always a nice place for the value.

I'm staying there sept. 10-13th! The hotel is very nice inside. The rooms are decent size and quiet. It's the best hotel close to the west village.

It's got a good restaurant, too.

I stayed at this very hotel last February. Tiny rooms but nice location.

Great photo!

I stayed at the Washington Square Hotel when I came to NYC to interview for my first job. I had the room on the third floor directly above the awning.

And that was in 1998.
