Really nice images. As Dusty Lens says, we don't see too much of this in small-town Astoria, either, although we have really excellent musicians here, so we always enjoy the events where they perform.
Wonderful series. I've always been amazed, stunned, even, to find that we have so many truly talented, excellent musicians in our country...most of which will never become rich or famous or both.

This is one of the many things we just don't see in the suburbs. Nice series here.
Cool name too.

Great photos - it reminds me a lot of Flight of the Conchords!
Great images... I love street pictures. Very real and this series is really nice.
PS: Did you tip them, because in the second photo the impression I get... is that you didnt....:::))))
i didn't tip them because there was no tip jar or open guitar case. I thought that was weird.

Celebrity is often a matter of luck, not talent.
Which is too bad.
"Busker," what a cool word. Had to look it up. sounds like something out of Damon Runyon.
always nice to see the new talent.

Are you sure you didn't follow me to Paris??? I wish!!!
I have had great fun shooting buskers all over Paris. I tipped today because I was practically in the guys face for many shots! HA
Ahhhh....the Washington Square fountain is open. I gotta go back there.
I love the surprise factor when you hear really great music in a park or outdoor setting. Always puts a smile on my face and a tap in my toes.
