That is really cool. It's weird to think about all the things going on when this picture was taken all the hopes, dreams problems etc. Everything but the picture, a few buildings and some really old people remain. The camera is so amazing to be able to capture a moment in time. Great stuff.

I love these old photos of cities. They always look like they are in transition between the old way of living and the new.
i think the simple black and white images of the day allowed the photographer to really see the detail in the scene.
