As you requested, I posted a photo of the nativity scene with the baby Jesus.
I seem to have missed some great posts while I was out partying! I love the outdoor nativity scene and the cute little puppy. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Ken Mac!
Looks like he could use a little hope from the One in your previous posts! I hope you had a wonderful and Merry Christmas. I am finally back online and trying to catch up after a long, cold power outage!
Reminds me of that line from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, where Brick drinks whiskey to reach that "click of peacefulness." It's hard work, that kind of drinking is. I hope these guys found it that night.
Little ole wine drinker me has had more than one for the road but in the comfort of my own home. These would make classic monochrome images You can really see that world of pain through the bottom of the glass. Cat on a hot tin roof, classic film. Hope you had a less less cynical Christmas than we did.
An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Ah, yes...a thing of beauty. Were you there xmas day?
That man looks lonely...go sit with him :)
That's painful.
Yes, painful! Old New York! (hey, everything miserable is back again, just check Wall street)
Fascinating. I wish I had the guts to take a shot like the top one.

I'm with Kevin. I'd never have the guts to take this shot. It's really poignant, KM.
Yes, it is very sad - I feel a bit voyeuristic.
It's a great shot though - and important to show the less "fluffy" side of life sometimes too.
awesome shots - both! love the pub! will link you to my blog and will be back! sj
hey guys, no bravery required. These serious drinkers, each with two glasses in hand apiece, were too busy imbibing to notice lil old me...

That fella is one long reach away from a good night's sleep.

Aaaahhh...a New Yorker's Christmas celebration in the bar.
Sometimes I feel like the top photo. A fine capture, I'm guessing the lighting was quite dark in there.
What a capture! So beatniks.
Love it! Will put a link to your page from mine.
Thank you for the publishing. I am going to write my paper in Philology, that's why I will have to leave now!Hope you will keep up the good work!
