Montero's - a favorite! A beautiful shot of a classic bar - I hope you had time to linger.

The combination of a glas bricks bar and lifebuoys is not exactly a lucky match in my eyes. Its to sterile but the wall with all those bottles makes up for good.

Sterile? This bar is over 80 years old. Probably the least sterile bar in NYC. It's all original, not cookie corporate

Also, this is is five blocks from the Hudson, so a huge maritime presence. And the family are all former sailors

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
