Yes, a ghost sign -- good name for those storefront signs that remain after the business has left. Nice monotone -- barbara

Hallo Ken,
yes, I have enjoyed very much the big Apple ! all the quarters..
and I have to say I liked modern buildings of course, but I was really amazed by the old houses which make the history of NYC,
you are a lucky man, leaving in a fanstastic City...

It's sad to see these old places go, but I think it's the human and the splotch of bright color that make the shot all it can be. I think you've done this a number or times, and I wonder if you could put together a book with such a theme. I like it.

The guy to the left says it all - the remains is in the black plastic sack.

There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article, thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
