Hey Ken Mac! Both of our daughters (and their friends) have spent some time at McSorley's when they were living in New York. They loved it. How goes it in the city...we are trying to get through these arctic temperatures and the crappiest winter I can remember. I feel sorry for the horses (and me) when it's this cold. Hope all is well.
ooh I could tell you a story about one night i spent in there..... but I'd need a pint...or two....of Guinness first!! Can you take a pic of the Ear Inn....pretty please??
I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

We have a McSorley's here but it doesn't look as great as this one!
Oh -- so your photo captures the old feel of the place -- barbara
