In the FANTASTIC video of folk, blues and bluegrass music, Another Day, Another Time (on Showtime, Dec. 13), Jack White and female partner do a charming "little" song about Mississippi John Hurt, and one line mentions McDougal Street. I've also heard at least one other recent reference to it. I didn't know it was so well known. Please remind me to g-map the location.
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
