Thank you

Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Power has returned in lower Manhattan but places elsewhere in the city and New Jersey are still in the dark and hurting. It has been a photographer's dream to wander the streets of Manhattan under the veil of blackness, though ultimately this has been a horrific event.

Great shots. Pity that it have to be such a bad time to get them. But I hope later on you can see back to these photo's because otherwise the picture was completely fade away from memory.

Hey Ken Mac.I hope that means you have power. Just caught up with your recent posts...they tell quite a story. Can't even imagine what it is like for so many...we got off easy here in Western New York. Thank you for sharing your view of the situation.

Eerie, and beautiful.

Good to see this from your perspective rather than the news media who focus on the sensationalism rather than the nitty-gritty

Glad you have power again and hopefully some heat! That always seems to be the big worry here when the electrics are off in cold weather.

Wonderful shots, but sad that it all happened the way it did. Glad things are getting better.

love the souvlaki stand, Ken.

even in the darkest, dark there's a bright light and comfort to be found.

I'm glad that things are moving in the right direction, albeit slowly. I agree about the photography opportunities that you have used so well - but at a price.

I am glad to hear that you have power again. I hope that all will be well with the people of NY and the East Coast too.

Your photos tell so much about this ordeal. I hope that the patient dog was well.

Not forgetting there are still so many people who need help, these are some really great shots, the food truck and the top photo are especially good.

I just revisited these and I say again, well done! Nature gave you an opportunity, but you ran with it.
