"Now you're smiling out the window of that crummy hotel over Washington Square...speaking strictly for me we both could have died then and there."
Can't think of it w/out thinking of Diamonds and Rust. Wonderful lighting.

My husband ran through here on our vacation and around the Village. One of the great spots on our 10 days in Greenwich Village. Beautiful colors on this photo Ken.

This place is never empty, day or night.

The night view of this historic arch is stunning with the silhouettes at the left base. This is certainly a busy location but the night shot gives it a less-crowded appearance.

Lovely. I like the improvements to the square, too.

What memories! When I first moved to the city I lived in that crummy hotel across from the arch.

I wonder i there's ever been a more flattering picture of the arch. The colors are so intriguing I came back for seconds.
