Plans are afoot to tear down the Civil War era Admiral's Row mansions, and replace them with a shopping mall (much needed in this depressed area. There goes the 'hood.

Truly there goes the neighborhood. What a beauty this structure is.
What a shame to break this down for a shopping mall. They have to treasure it.
Such a shame.
Oh, nooooooo. Wish someone would step forward and save them.
Part of the area should be saved as a national monument, to protect its history.

I hope that they can save and move this building because its historic, and a shopping mall is a dime a dozen. While an old building like this is not, they are always sorry after they destroy history like this after the fact! Richard
