Good morning Ken Mac. Another great shot. A lot of contrast...beautiful composition. Are you cold down there? -10 here at 7am.
Great photo. Shows the change of time both in architecture and light. Love it.
Thanks, Ken Mac, I seem to be hanging in there. I am moving to another apartment, so being busy with that has insulated my mind a good bit. I hope to get settled and get back to enjoying your photos and lots of other folks' photos, too!
Ooooh...neat! love this one, too!
Nice title, Ken.I remember when that new building was going up, too. That neighborhood has changed a bit in the last 10 years.
I always love these types of architectural juxtaposition shots!
What a stupendous composition! The "flag waving in the breeze" lines of the new building seem to flow directly from the stately older edifice with its lovely arched fenestrations and crown details - like the older building is imagining the newer one - or it is spinning it out like a well-told tale - or an elder mentoring a younger, watching with pride as the younger surpasses the elder's ministrations. Beautiful!
Oh now that is very nice!!V
What an amazing shot of the snow in Greenwich Village. With all this snow we're getting, I bet there are plenty more pics to come.
