I love it - the look on the rat's face (how do you get that kind of expression on a rat face that is twelve feet in diameter?), the "I >heart< NY" T-shirt, the fact that the rat is depicted having scribbled out a stick-figure rat... Beautiful... and then all the standard but mostly very artistic grafitto along the first story of the building...

as boromax points out, this Banksy stands atop a heap of conventional graffiti. talk about a metaphor.

I remember Banksy from the documentary "Exit through the Gift Shop." I too wonder how those guys avoid "capture."
