Maybe I'll get yelled at for sexism, but couldn't one argue that this captures the gender-specific images of good parenting? He's all male, she's all female, but both are adoring the young (presumably their own), while a blurry guy who could be THEIR father looks on--with envy? disapproval of some kind? How dare they feel that good, be that lucky?
