Incredible depth and "schwung"...
This photo reminds me of the scene in Bonfire of the Vanities, where the couple gets lost (the book. Haven't seen the movie).What a monster of a thing? I have to wonder what all those pipes are about.
Nice overhead overpass!
What a dynamic photo you have here. At first look, I felt as dizzy--the motion caused by the sweeping raised roadway really got to me. Your blog is filled with such juicy tidbits--I like the way you see your city.

where was this taken? BQE stands for Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
Uh. "BQE" stands for "*Brooklyn*-Queens Expressway."Which is kind of why it's in Brooklyn and not the Bronx.Just saying.
