Cool shot Mr. Mac!

Wow--the pier eroded over time but the pinions last. Pretty amazing photo.

Looks a lot like some areas of Cedar Key!

The pier disappeared a long time ago.

BTW, my Late Autumn photo is not an HDR image. I use both Photoshop Lightroom and Elements 5.0. In Lightroom, I increase the Recovery, Fill Light, Contrast, Clarity, and Vibrance Sliders to +100%. I also use the Strong Contrast on the curves section and increase the blacks slider to 15 to 25%. Then I back off on the Saturation slider to the negative value; -75 in this photo.

You find the best stuff. They look like soldier. No, they look like refugees.

Fantastic and cool shot !! Great work..

Soldiers ARE refugees, and here they are stretching out seemingly to the disappearing point. Some have fallen on the way; others are seriously damaged but still upright. The analogy goes on. Especially today of all days ...

Lovely photo - it looks like a creation by Antony Gormley.

lovely perspective with the strong colours at fore and fading into the background.

Brilliant... this shot is totally 3-D... it invites us to enter and explore...

I wonder if they will pull them out or cut them at the bottom?
