I was coming home from Newark airport the year they first lit the twin beams

on the turnpike I could see them so clearly and followed them for as long as they were visible

and when I couldn't see them anymore my heart hurt

beautiful photo!

This is a very nice tribute

11S was a hard day for all, also for me, a spanish man, so far from NY but very close with all american people.

Regards

Thanks for this appropriate reminder today. Our little ceremony on the banks of the Columbia was not so beautiful but just as memorable and we will never forget.

a great photo and a perfect tribute.
although i live in the uk i have family in new jersey and so feel a closeness with america.
this year i visited the site and know that the passing years will never make the immense loss anymore bareable

This should win some sort of prize.

Beautiful! My sister lived in NY for many years and worked about 2 blocks away from the WTC. Apparently she was getting breakfast that morning at a local cafe and saw the whole thing, that pushed her to come home.
