42nd Street -- 1987

Back when 42nd Street was still full of peep shows, electronics stores and hot dog stands. This sign dates from the 50s.

Oops, Ken, I'm sorry. The blog you went to isn't my CDP blog—it's the other one! I have two blogs, and the one where you saw the archival image is Happy at Home, my main blog. My Manila is my CDP blog. Nothing archival there.

I wonder what this area looks like 20 years on. I hope they saved that building with the movie ad on it. Thanks for your recent visit to my site. It is appreciated.

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
