  6. Hi Ken thanks for dropping bye. In answer to your question Thanet is on the very South East tip of England 90 Miles from London in distance but a million miles in reality. Our most famous daughter comes from Margate Tracey Emin the artist who you may be familiar with. Margate is famous for Dreamland the now defunct 19th/20th century amusement park.
