I thought for a minute you were pulling my leg because that looks like one of the increasingly rare corners of London that the clowns property developers have overlooked. But I guess Manhattan is just as blighted.
Is the bar at the corner of Bleecker and Macdougall still going? Yes, I know there were bars at all corners of that junction and I can't remember which corner but I have very fond memories of passing long hot lazy afternoons outside there, drinking Rolling Rocks and watching the world pass by.
Yes, that is a small mews on the NYU campus. Maybe I like it cause it looks like London! Most mews are private, but a few remain open during the day.
