From a gentler time on the Upper West Side

The UWS dry cleaners whose regular customers included John Lennon and Yoko Ono. For years the cleaners had  an autographed Lennon photo in the window.

    Years ago when I said something was "quaint" I meant "Nice, but who really cares?" Now it means "I'll be sad when this is gone."
