An old architectural gem -- so much detail in this photo that all comes together -- barbara

A great sight (and site). I don't understand why, when these have to come down for safety, "we" don't rebuild in the same style. Same question for cars of the 1930s - 1960s. But I guess the PT Cruiser didn't cut it financially?

Wow how did that place escape urban renewal? Love it. Looks like it was built when Lincoln was president.

Great photo, Ken Mac!
Did I told you that I love your new template?

PS: About my current banner, I did a serie of posts about "Books and Bookshelf" with many photos of my blog friends's bookshelf. I also did a post about "The Book Cell Project by Matej Krén". You can see it HERE.

Look at all the work, all the detail that went into what must have been, back in the day, just an ordinary shop.

A patriotic shave.
And a great find.
