I love the ambiance of Oyster Bar, sitting at that looping counter. You get a sense that so many people have eaten there. A bit expensive though.

The brick vaults are amazing. Have you been to Gustavino's? same idea.

Looks like you were there at an off hour!

Very nice photos. Did you know the constellations on the ceiling are painted backwards? The artist had the plan the wrong way round so instead of repainting it they said that the reversed view of the stars was the view the Gods got looking down rather than us mortals looking up.

Oh, Ken Mac, these are stunning photos! The lighting is superb!

Gosh, what time were you there? I've never seen pics of this place without any people!

I'm guessing it was so quiet because of the holiday no?
I love how you photographed the lights.

These are great shots Ken Mac. Going someplace??I have yet to photograph this place--usually when I am there I have too many things in hand to relax and enjoy. Thanks for the great shots. Happy Holiday!

Impressive light. Very well done:-)

The word Grand was obviously invented for this place. I'm surprised by the lime light (no pun intended)filtering through, but pleasantly.

When I first visited New York I was prepared for a lot of things but nothing prepared me for Grand Central. It is surely one of the wonders of the modern world.

I liked to go up on the walkways between the windows. They probably don't allow that anymore.

Spectacular photos. Actually, I don't have any photos from there. You've inspired me to make a trip down there some time soon.
