I've stood all I can stand and I can't stand no more!

From Weehawken Street, New York's "smallest" street...

  1. Next time I visit that street, I shall make certain not to urinate on it!

    Great shots as usual.

  2. Laurie's comment made me laugh. I'll try to pay attention too.

"Poverty is not poetry" is an entire debate!

  3. First Charlie Brown, now Popeye. Who's next? Pogo? ;) Miss him…

"No urinating" signs are all over Metro Manila, unfortunately. One guess why. =(

  7. Oh, my goodness. . . .My first thought is that it's horrible that the signs are there. . .. and then I think that it's horrible that someone has to post them in the first place.

    BTW. . .LOVE Popeye!!

  8. A former coworker of mine lives on West 10th in the Village and she says people urinate on her corner vestibule all the time. She has even found transvestite hookers servicing clients there a few times.

    Now, that's NYC!

  10. It is problem (so I understand) in a number of places in the UK - mostly with late-night drunken revellers or crowds leaving sporting venues, but never seen any prohibition signs (there used to no-spitting signs on the top decks of buses)

What gets me though is that notice is on WEE-hawcken street!
