A former coworker of mine lives on West 10th in the Village and she says people urinate on her corner vestibule all the time. She has even found transvestite hookers servicing clients there a few times.
It is problem (so I understand) in a number of places in the UK - mostly with late-night drunken revellers or crowds leaving sporting venues, but never seen any prohibition signs (there used to no-spitting signs on the top decks of buses)
What gets me though is that notice is on WEE-hawcken street!
I've stood all I can stand and I can't stand no more!
