It makes me want to watch "Diner" which makes me want to watch "Sweet Smell of Success."

Which makes me want to watch North by Northwest -- can't beat that train.

Would that old trucking route be Rt. 22?

In Detroit we have coney islands instead of diners, which of course makes no sense. I don't recall how that name got started. Do you remember that about Detroit? The real diner structures are infinitely more appealing to look at, and the fare is similar.

Trucker food. Bet it was packed in its day.

Nice americana here. It still has that appeal of delicious fast food with buckets of coffee to swallow it.

Fantastic shot of this old diner. I remember these from long ago -- haven't seen one in years. Thanks for posting this one. ~~ barbara

When I was a kid I had many comic books with this image.

Is this close to the Bendix tube factory? Just missed out on a NOS pair of 6V6GT's that I needed for my preamp yesterday. Forgot to bid on 'em.
