Skatepunks

I'm not usually very good at capturing action shots. Heck, I'm not usually very good at capturing people! But I got lucky with these skatepunks in the East Village. Teenagers don't care if you photograph them, they're too busy having fun! I thought the action capture and perspective was good, and from my old Panasonic DZ18. Lots of good action in the background too if you click/enlarge the pic. hint hint...

Well, this is a very good action shot if you ask me. I like that the ... how do you call that?... the platforms? are decorated so they are not such an eyesore.

Btw, we have a pigeon mama in the UWS too. I will post her one of these days.

A very well captured. I tried many times to shoot a moving target and I know it's not easy.
I love this shot.

Great action. Skaters always impress me, if I tried skateboarding my next photos would probably come from the emergency room!

This is a good shot showing the action. There is lots going on in the photo which makes it very interesting.

I love that skate park. That playground has been super unused for a long time and now they finally found something that works out for everybody. Great shot!
